Complex Abdo & Gastro History & IBS

All About my Physical Health
What is my Complex Abdominal & Gastroenterology History & IBS?

My Diagnosis: *No Specific Diagnosis - Complex Unsourced Abdominal Pains*, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Previous Ovarian Cysts, Previous Stomach Ulcers
My Consultants: Paediatrician, Local Hospital, Paediatric Gastroenterologist, Specialist Children's Hospital
My Treatments: Omeprazole (a Proton Pump Inhibitor) 40mg every morning, Buscopan (an Anti-Spasmodic) 10mg after meals, Mebeverine 135mg three times daily, Macrogol (Movicol - a Laxative) 8 sachets recommended daily, Lactulose 5ml once or twice daily,  Sodium Picosulfate (not yet started)
My Past Investigations: Laparascopic Appendecetomy, Upper GI Endoscopy with Biopsies, Pathology on Appendix
Things Happening in the Future: Naso-Gastric Feeding to be Implemented, Colonoscopy

Both me, my Dad and my Grandad all have a complex abdominal/gastroenterology history, as well as all of us suffering with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which can cause immense pain on a daily basis. My Dad has mild diverticulitis disease alongside other diagnosed conditions including bleeding from the bowel, and my Grandad has previously had a partial Gastrectomy to remove parts of his stomach due to these mystery problems which occur within our family.

As far as my Gastroenterology symptoms go, I currently have no other diagnosis which is a bit of a mystery despite being under a Gastroenterologist at a Specialist Children's Hospital and a Paediatrician at my other local hospital.

I previously had my Appendix out in 2015 though a Laparascopic Appendicetomy, at which point my surgeon also discovered a burst ovarian cyst which was drained, although I suffered a Serious Post-Operative Infection in the weeks following, for which I was rushed back into hospital by Ambulance and treated with IV Fluids, three IV antibiotics including Gentamicin - an antibiotic used to treat several types of serious bacterial infections including Sepsis.

An Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy I had at the end of 2015 also revealed I had been suffering with around three to four stomach ulcers which appear to be healing, but I'm still experiencing many symptoms which are still under investigation.
